My name is Brooke Poirier and I graduated from St. Thomas University with both a Bachelor of Arts and Education in 2015 and 2016, respectively. I have been with Little Geniuses since 2017 and have genuinely found my passion in Early Childhood Education. Being in an Early Learning Centre with a child-led/play-based curriculum has opened my eyes beyond the traditional school curriculum and I have been building my programming repertoire each year. I love to try and connect the inside of the classroom with the out, by creating a green classroom environment with plants, mini recycling and composting programs, and sustainable practices, all in which the children can be active participants in. In my personal time, I am a mother to a wild and funny toddler, I enjoy crafty hobbies such as journaling and cross-stitching, and when given the free time, traveling with my husband.
